For those not in the know, today is the world famous Sew Mama, Sew Giveaway Day. Today is the day that creative blogs and online shops give stuff away and it is all listed on the Sew Mama, Sew pages. Every year this giveaway gets bigger and better. Some of the prizes are amazing - from handmade beauties to the raw materials to make them. It is also a great way to find new and interesting blogs and shops - I have have found several over the last couple of years, through these contests.
This year for the first time, I have actually decided to join in the giveaway madness and throw some materials into the ring. I couldn't decide whether I should give some of my precious fabric away or some of my delicious yarn, so I decided to do BOTH!!! Here are the two packs that I am planning on giving away, one pack to each of two winners:
Yarn Pack:
1 Skein of GEM Starsock - 4 ply yarn comprised of bamboo silk and wool in the Powder Puff Plant colourway. This is a gorgeous and silky sock yarn, which measures 360 yards and weighs 100g. This is produced by Green Eyed Monster and I love it, I think you will too. I'm afraid I've lost the tag, but I imagine you should wash by hand in order to preserve the gorgeous and vibrant colours.
1 Skein of Lang Mille Fiame - Super Bulky Yarn comprised of 50% wool and 50% acrylic. This soft and bouncy yarn is 98 yards and weighs 100g. This skein should be enough to create a lovely scarf. The colours are gorgeous and a really unusual combination.
1 Skein of Colourmart Merino Lace Weight - 2 ply Lace Weight yarn made of 100% merino. This delicate and soft yarn is 50g and 800 yards in length.
I think these three yarns should provide something for everybody, and increase and enhance any stash. Here are all three together for you to drool over!
Fabric Pack:
This pack is comprised of 4 fat quarters in co-ordinating fabrics. They are batik dyed.

These fabrics have all been washed, ready for use.
The colours of the fabric and the yarn are as close as I can make them to real life (on my monitor) but as with anything, different technologies can create variables.
Giveaway Rules
So, how do you get your sticky mitts on my lovely loot? As I said, I am giving these prizes away as "packs". So there will be two winners. If you leave a comment stating which pack you want - Yarn, Fabric or Either, I will then choose two people at random. The first person chosen will get first choice of which pack they prefer. Wouldn't it be lovely if the two people wanted different packs? I bet that doesn't happen!

My commenting system Disqus does leave space for you to put your email address on, so please ensure that you do, so I can get in touch with you if you are a winner. If you do not leave a way to contact you, you won't win. Don't worry if you don't see your comment appearing straight away.
