Quick and Easy

I seem to have been working on a few large projects lately. I am enjoying those projects immensely, BUT it does mean I don't have much to show for my efforts so far.

To give myself a little boost, I dug out a quick and easy project I have had laying around for sometime. It is a Clothkits door stop. It was a free gift for taking out a magazine subscription. I have been meaning to make it since the beginning of the year but I got side tracked. It took me all of 20 minutes to whip up this little gem.

The reason it was so quick to make is that all Clothkits come pre-printed on the fabric. You cut out the shapes and follow the clear instructions. I love Clothkits clothes, but the prices are a bit steep for me. I keep looking out for bargains in their sale section, but I have yet to find a style that I like, at a price I can afford. Until then I shall have to be content with our new door stop. It can now take the place of the pile of felted bags that have been used to keep the door from blowing shut, while all our windows open. It's much tidier this way, I think the OH will be pleased. I know I am.
