The kitty is knit entirely in the round, using either magic loop or dpns, so there are NO SEAMS!!! The Extra Small size uses 4ply or fingering weight yarn, the Small size uses DK yarn and the Medium size uses aran or worsted weight yarn. The kitty uses less than a 50g ball of yarn, so it is useful for those odd balls you have laying around.
The above kitty is knit in Sirdar Snuggly DK, which is idea for a baby gift as there are no small parts to worry about. For a more grown up gift the kitty below was knit using Debbie Bliss Fez.
The kitty can be knit in a couple of days, so it is also good for a last minute gift, especially as time is growing shorter to get those Christmas presents finished.
