I am currently working on a knitting pattern. It is taking quite a lot of effort as it is my first one for some time. Appropriately enough today's Month of Craft Photos Challenge is - Challenging:
Here I am working on my amendments. As part of my work I am updating all my old patterns so they all look alike and have the correct web address and email details. I've also been considering adding my patterns to the Craftsy website as a new outlet. Craftsy also allows me to distribute sewing and other craft patterns, so it would make it easier for me to keep an eye on how many people are downloading my free patterns and tutorials that are currently hosted on Google, with no way of keeping tabs on how popular they are.
So all this work behind the scenes has been keeping me very busy and is a true work in progress!
As part of these changes I have made a little tweak to the blog. Those of you who have read this blog before will know about the little Ravelry icon that appears after links to Ravelry. <- Like this. I have decided to add a little Stitched Together graphic that works in the same way. So for example if I link to another page, within the blog ,such as last weeks WIP Post. You can see the new graphic showing that it is an internal link. All other external links will remain unadorned! I hope this clarifies my linkage policy!
So while I've been working on these very unglamorous parts of my blogging and crafting, all I've had left over in my brain has been put to playing with pretty colours. I've made good progress this week on my Tribute Wrap.
In total I have managed about a third of this wrap. It is completely addictive. I love finishing off a square and starting a new colour. When this is blocked it is going to look fabulous, not to be mention provide a very warm cloud of colour to wrap around my head!
Hopefully other people will be able to provide more interesting works in progress, which you can find by clicking on the button.
